Aqua for All – the Dutch water sector  |  2008

In 2008, the second phase of the ceramic water filter research was started. This phase follows the research program was started in 2006 with a focus on performance of the ceramic pot water filters. After good results, the second phase now focuses on improving product performance and standardization and certification of the production of water filters. To achieve this, progress has been made on an international ceramic pot filter conference and first steps have been taken to continue research on product and process optimization at the premises of Resource Development International in Cambodia. The start of the research program is planned for 2009 and is expected to continue in 2010.
