Training & Education

Training and Education includes training programmes for the production and installation of the different technologies;

Consultancy

PRACTICA is a respected partner for consultancy services. These services include technology feasibility studies, mapping studies, programme development, etc. Examples of Consultancy projects give a good idea about the fields PRACTICA is active in.

Research & Development

Research and Development activities are a major part of our own programmes. In certain cases, specific ideas for a specific context can be the subject of contract research, which means that new technologies are developed and tested on demand. Our R&D programme is mostly based in the Netherlands and Ethiopia, where we have excellent facilities for testing and production of prototypes. Examples of our R&D projects show the wide range of topics we are currently working on.

Publications

PRACTICA actively shares knowledge and experiences about small scale technologies. In this section of our website, all kind of publications from PRACTICA or others is posted for free download. This includes training and production manuals, background documents like studies, papers and theses, video materials and the Smart Solutions series.
